Blossoms

"Blossoms"
Oil on canvas
2009

I bought these flowers to my dear wife a week ago.
It seemed like a nice subject to paint. Flowers always have such a nice variation in edges.

great brush work, I don't like to compare, but the stile remains me or Richard Schmid. I can see you got snow, here in Canada we didn't get it yet. keep with such a good work.cheers

Thank you very much Mick and Jesus.

Jesus:
I am not qualified to be compared to him :)
Hehe..It was actually the third painting that i had painted when people told me that it looks a bit like Schmid paintings.
I was like.. who is this Schmid guy. :)
He isnt wasnt so known in here in scandinavia you know..
After googling his name i realized that he surely is the master of our times.
It is just amazing what Mr Schmid can do with the paints.
Highest respect.

The wife here is still sure the flowers were bought for painting-purposes really ;) But still a nice gesture. And a lovely painting.
